I always thought the birds outside my window sang the prettiest of all Japan. I think they were sparrows, but I never saw them, so I'm not sure.
Last year, when trying to do gesture drawing of the sparrows at the park, I couldn't photograph any of them, so I just decided to draw a picture of one of those birds outside my window completely from imagination.
Something with a bright, cheery message like they always give me must be pink and purple, emitting rays of bright gold, don't you think?
