They made me cry. Alini and Brian sang, in English and Japanese, the song "Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul." I've heard that song so many times before, but it's never had that effect on me. It's just that this time, before the song, the explanation was given it was written as a person's salvation testimony.

I was so moved during their special, I forgot to take a picture. I got my chance to take one after the service. But by that time, Brian had hoisted his baby carry, so you can see little Noah over his shoulder. That's their 5th child, actually, and Alini is carrying their 6th. Their other children have been pictured in previous posts. They are the regular Sunday Schoolers at Gushikawa Baptist Church.
After worship service, all 5 siblings were in the playpen (they get along so well!) working to get all the plastic balls in the makeshift net basket hanging on the wall. I didn't think to take their picture until they were gone. Rats.
It's not like I'll be going back to Iwatsuki, my sister reminded me; there will be other weeks they'll be playing there. I haven't missed MY ONLY CHANCE. True. God says "grace". Why do WE insist on saying, "rats; I missed it!"?
