Maybe with a Mug of Hot Chocolate...

Tomorrow is Christmas. Also, it's a Sunday. These are two reasons I'll be staying home from the park. My critter friends know that.

Um--for tonight and tomorrow, would you be interested in reading "Desert Stew", something I put together about 3 men in Babylon who set off across the desert for the region of Judea when they saw the regal star signaling something significant was about to happen there?

One of the men was a prince, one a chamberlain, and one his favorite eunuch. But for the duration of the journey, the prince asked that their ranks not be disclosed or mentioned, so for all practical purposes, it appears there are three friends traveling across the desert.

Oh--this is back in Bible times, before we had gasoline, so the men were traveling on the backs of camels, going from watering hole to watering hole.

3 men on the back of camels traveling from the east across the desert, after a moving star...sound familiar?

I know most modern schedules are too busy for anyone to sit down and want to read anything of any length, but maybe for Christmas--especially with this snow outside --you'll feel like sitting down and reading a little?
