"Is it from being away from the park for so long?" I asked my husband.
I used to take daily walks there--it's only 7 minutes away, if I take a shortcut--and I sketch my critter friends several times each time. I thought I was getting better at it, even able to draw something presentable to the public. But I'd been away for several weeks, and today, when I went back to the park and tried to draw the mallards I saw relaxing at Step Creek, I got this. Groan.
While making the drawing, a crow flitted onto a branch overhead as if to inspect my work, and didn't have words...he was too kind.
The pretty blue Kawasemi bird, came flying onto one of the branches and tried to cheer me up.
"What are you trying to draw today anyway?" he seemed to want to know. My picture is so scattered, I think I want to know too.
