God kept it Cool...then Colorful Too!

Waimea Canyon, Kauai

"Hey Junie," I thought I heard, while sitting down against the outside wall of my Uncle Masa's house early the morning of July 14. It was too dark out yet. No one should be out except the birds...

 Backyard Birdie,   Guide Uncle Masa

"Look up," a suggestion came. There, on the telephone wire over the garden, was a little black Myna Bird. And it seemed to almost nod apologetically, knowing I'd been sitting there hoping to see the bright scarlet cardinal-related bird I'd seen the other day but he was "only" a darker backyard bird.

Where they grew up,   This is Kauai

"but we Mynas aren't dumb;" it seemed to go on. "We can see what you're doing on computers through the window. Junie. You edit lots of photos for relatives and friends showing your time in Hawaii, but don't forget to post them for blog readers, OK?" Then it flew away.

The Spouting Water Hole ,   An island-wide black velvet curtain! (blackout)

The brilliant red-headed bird never came. And I just looked, and what that Myna bird warned about came true: I think I forgot to post most of the pictures I edited--gulp!

Jon got me Guava Nectar,   Joycie and Ken Duetting

So I'm going to try--by this post--to backpedal and put up 10 pics from Hawaii I forgot to post, hope to tell blog readers about them in the event I have not been communicating with you in another way.

After all that rain...God HAD to show us a RAINBOW!

The last three are after we went to the island of Oahu where my Uncle Masa's house is (where I saw the Myna Bird above). See what God sent in promise of His blessing?

I am remembering these photographs were taken the second week of July. God's fulfillment of blessing came at the end of Aug,
