SHE MUST'VE THOUGHT I KNEW

I was going through some more old photos and came across one when I was about 5 years old. Yes, they were all black and white then, and that's me in the back standing up against the wall. We had Sunday School classes out in the yard, like you see in the picture.

Anyway, the teacher had just said if you die without believing in Jesus, you'd go to hell. I'd piped up, yes, but God loves you, so you can pray and ask Him to save you, and He'll take you to Heaven, right? The teacher must've been surprised to hear such a question coming from the child of the missionary!

"No;" she told me patiently, kindly; "after you die, it's too late. You have to ask Jesus to save you right now, when you're alive." It was that morning I began to think I'd better do something about it, and it was the next year I actually did ask Jesus to save me.

Yes, do continue to pray for your missionaries' ministries; but pray for your missionaries' mothers' wisdom and children (people seem to think they understand salvation because their parents teach it.)

Thank you for praying for the "mini museum" the Lord is helping me put together.  I have asked the Saito males for help along the way, since both are interested in computer technology, and I am illiterate in it. But thus far, I have experimented in putting together a 90-image "Slide Show" to display some pictures taken down from the wall (there were well over 300; I counted), as well as some pictures from Daddy's photo albums. The 2 old pictures posted are among them.

This morning, I Skyped with my sisters and they gave me the go-ahead for taking all the pictures out of the frames to get them into digital format to put them into the computer--yay!

Joyce said someone at church will come over to look at the AC in the study--which hasn't been used for years and is now merely blowing air--and would probably service it for free--thank you Father!
