NO MEMORY CARD!

Left it at home? I can't take pictures again! I remembered to take the camera. I realized at the doctor's office waiting room I'd forgotten to insert the memory card.

I had Kinya take a picture of me with my cellphone--it's the rock-bottom simplest kind you can get with poor photographing capabilities, not one of the modern smart phones, and no e-mail, no way to send the pictures taken. So the only thing to do was to display what had been taken with the phone and take a photograph of the cell with my other camera, then get it into digital format. Some quality would be lost, but it would be better than nothing. Here 'tis.

Today's visit was a relief. At first, they wondered if they could get all my meds, but in the end, they told me they'd prescribe 2 months' worth at a time; I wouldn't have to go every month.

It was a nice breezy day, so we took a long walk home, and the Lord showed me several herons, carp, and I was surprised to see the head of one turtle in the river. Kinya and I had just read a poster warning about and telling about one nearby...I figured it was an old poster, and the turtle was long gone, but maybe they never got it, or that poster's not as old as I thought.

Again, maybe God let me forget the memory card for Kinya's sake. If I'd been able to take pictures of all the wildlife we saw today, I think he might've gotten a little tired altho' I should've been the one concerned about staying out in the heat.
