My last post last year ended with a poem about working to make an imperfect church the best it can possibly be. Yesterday morning began with the handful of believers of Gushikawa Baptist Church getting together to ask God to help us this year to be the catalysts He would have us be this in 2025.

I've heard when church folk get together to work on something, it's really to get people done; work is just an excuse. When activities were finishing up and I was noticing several very different personalities laughing together as they cleaned, I couldn't help but happily agree.
