This is the 3rd time the 3 J's have used Janice's points to book a free overnight stay at the hotel. It's not that we have a taste for ritzy places; it's just the company; and we can get there, just veg, be as silly as we need to be, sleep, take long baths, talk our heads off, pray together, and know someone will make our beds when we leave. ONE NIGHT OF THE YEAR we can be goofy and free.
Besides, right after check in, guests are allowed to help themselves to a complimentary cup of shikuasa (Okinawan fruit) juice in the lobby. That's NOT why I wanted to go, but hey, it was nice, mmm, really nice!
