It was too cold to go to the park, so I'll post some rough sketches made last year.
They were never finalized into complete drawings. I usually do only general outline first, and if I think it looks interesting fill in coloring and details at home. But since it's been half a year since I made these initial sketches, I really have no idea what the details even were. I'll just color tone them and post them the way they are, ok? Really Sorry...
One had me enchanted, I think, the way the park lantern was glowing. The other, I think, was a quick sketch taken the way the Great Blue Heron seemed to be interacting with the white egret on the pond, and I wanted to get quick sketches of them before they flew away.
Aren't you glad when we ask God to leave us alone, He doesn't leave us unfinished and just forget about us?
